South Australian artist Michael Davidson has been crafting jewellery in Adelaide since 1987. Originally taught by Pat Hagan, jeweller and silver smith, he continues her depiction of the Australian fauna and flora in his work.
Michael received a grant from The Craft Council of South Australia to support the development of his Australiana range.
He also enjoys making contemporary pieces, working in a variety of metals including silver, gold, titanium, copper and mixed media such as wood and shell.
Michael designs and makes custom one-off commissioned pieces.
